Spanbound Academy
The crossing game becomes a study session. A question appears above the stage, four answers wait below the islands, and a correct choice grows the bridge to the next marker.
Choose. Answer. Cross.
Pick a tier and a study material before the run. Each of the ten problems appears in a fixed banner above the stage, with four answer choices in a tray below the gap. The playfield keeps its size while questions open and close.
- ✦Correct answer: the bridge grows to the next marker and the Architect crosses
- ✦First miss: the correct answer is revealed and the session clock loses time
- ✦Two consecutive misses: the session resets to Problem 1
- ✦Ten problems: the session report appears inside the stage
Six materials, five paces
Questions come from the Academy's procedural study generator. Mixed samples every field; the focused materials keep the whole run on one topic. The final two problems step up one tier.
- ✦Mixed, Math, Angles, Shapes, Fractions, and Patterns
- ✦Tier clocks from a relaxed 1:00 session down to 0:18 on God
- ✦Keyboard keys 1–4, or tap/click an answer
- ✦Selected material is remembered on the device
Five tiers, one study loop
Every tier runs ten problems. The session clock and per-question clock change; the answer tray does not.
Easy
A relaxed first run for new players. The session clock and question clock leave room to read each prompt and choose an answer without rushing.
Normal
The default practice pace. Questions move faster while the session still allows a few misses before time runs out.
Hard
A faster run for players who know the loop. The final two problems step up one tier, so the session finishes under pressure.
Extreme
Short session time and quick prompts reward accurate first answers. A single miss costs valuable seconds.
God
The fastest Academy tier. Every second and every answer matters; two consecutive misses still reset the run.
Pick the material before the run
The selection is saved on the device and can be changed from the start screen before the next session.
Mixed
Samples arithmetic, angles, geometry, fractions, patterns, measurement, and data.
Math
Arithmetic and number-sense questions with a steady difficulty curve.
Angles
Angle relationships, complements, and straight-line reasoning.
Shapes
Perimeter, area, and properties of common two-dimensional shapes.
Fractions
Equivalent fractions, comparison, and simple fraction operations.
Patterns
Sequences, rules, and the next term in a repeating pattern.
What stays on the device
The pilot is intentionally self-contained. That keeps first-user testing simple and avoids pretending that classroom or payment services are connected.
Saved locally
Best study score, points, settings, selected difficulty, and selected study material are stored in browser local storage. Clearing site data resets them. There is no remote write in this phase.
Deferred until after testing
API integration, authentication, teacher classrooms, student accounts, payments, ads, leaderboards, and cross-device sync are out of scope until the study loop has been tested with real users.
